Lize Ockeloen, MD is a pediatrician and educator from the Netherlands with over ten years of clinical experience. She is an educator and faculty member at the PROSA Kenniscentrum, where she develops and delivers educational programmes in pediatric procedural comfort care.
Alongside her work in pediatrics, Lize specializes in healthcare education, communication and teamwork. She designs and facilitates training for healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on creating psychologically safe learning environments, effective supervision and translating evidence into daily clinical practice.
Lize is passionate about making healthcare more humane by embedding rights-based procedural comfort care into routine pediatric care. Through education, collaboration and innovation, she aims to empower healthcare professionals to improve children's experiences during medical procedures.
