Inge de Vlieger has worked as a psychologist (GZ-psycholoog iot specialist) in Amsterdam OLVG Hospital since 2009. Her study background is Child and Adolescent Psychology as well as Neuropsychology at University of Amsterdam (2009). She is also part of research in the AMICA study, neurocognitive follow-up study for premature children.
Inge is experienced in treating medically unexplained symptoms and chronic illness in children and participating in the multidisciplinary team that focuses on preventing pain and fear in children in medical situations. EMDR is one of her treatment options for children that are anxious for and traumatized by medical procedures.
