Laura Mitchell, CCLS is a Child Life Specialist, Senior Staff at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware where she has been on staff for 23 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and completed her internship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. At Nemours, Laura supports patients and their families in Day Medicine, Sedation & Radiology. She is currently the Chair of the Nursing and Allied Health Committee of the Society for Pediatric Sedation (SPS.)
