After a range of (inter)national training opportunities, Martien Humblet works at MosaKids Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Intensive Care doctor.
With the aim to try and improve clinical practice through medical education, she is currently doing a PhD at SHE (School of Health professions Education). In order to design efficient education, she is using qualitative research methods to thoroughly understand the complexity of performing procedures on often acutely ill and freighted children’s.
Her special interest goes out to Point Of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Difficult Intravenous Vascular Access (DIVA) in children.
